[S372] Copy of Court Roll of Manor of Aylmerton, 15 April 1700, states (translated from Latin) that the property described in the court roll is granted to William Abbs (b. circa 1678) "...on condition that the aforesaid William Abbs the son should pay or cause to be paid...the sum of twenty pounds of similar lawful money of England to Anne wife of Phillip Pike of Matles in the county of Norfolk..."
