  2. [S324] Last baptism entry transcribed on FreeREG forTattersett listing Elizabeth Belton (nee Cooke) as mother is for John Belton on 6 October 1743. Subsequent to the marriage entry for Henry Belton and Ann Potter in the Tatterford parish register, all Belton baptisms in Tattersett until 1772 list either Henry Belton alone or Henry and Ann Belton as parents. Although there is no transcribed burial register entry on FreeREG for Elizabeth Belton between October 1743 and 1750, there is a possibility that Elizabeth Belton died and that it was the widowed Henry Belton that married Ann Potter in 1750 in Tatterford. The fact that Henry and Ann were both buried in Tattersett in December 1790, with Ann listed as the wife of Henry, lends credence to this hypothesis because there are no other burial register transcriptions on FreeREG for Henry Belton in Tattersett between 1737 and 1790.
